Thread: The Pursuit for an Excellent Shave Begins

Hey everyone,
Typical noob coming into the ranks, but certainly happy to be one at all. I hated shaving for a long time, since it left my face irritated and broken out. I got a sample pack at AOS while at the mall one day, and once I felt my face afterwards there was no going back to the way I used to shave. I'm 19 years old, but unlike many other 19 year olds, I care about being a gentlemen and everything that goes with it. I want to show people that chivalry isn't dead, that men can be strong, God-loving, hard working, and tough without being mean, arrogant, and self-serving. I also want to bring some of the tradition that goes along with being a true gentleman, which of course is not measured by rituals or the closeness of a shave, but by his daily interactions with people.
My first razor is a C-Mon full hollow that I purchased in the classifieds, and it is currently en route. I can't wait to give it a shot, and just wanted to say thank you to all of the advice that people have left on these forums for me to read. I would certainly be lost without it.
