Gruß aus Alabama!
Hello all,
After many years and untold dollars spent on safety razors, I made the decision to try straight razor shaving. Being someone with a soft spot for all things "old school" i.e classic cars, 1930's music, mechanical typewriters, etc. it's something I've always wanted to learn how to do. Being the clueless beginner that I was though, I neglected to properly research these things before setting out, and therefore, my first razor was a Zeepk (I will now pause so you senior members can finish laughing). Now however, as a new member of this forum, I hope to gain better knowledge on the do's and don'ts of this classic art.

Welcome and good luck with the st8. I just have started using a sr. I am in Dothan but grew up in Boaz, and I miss Germany.
