Welcome to SRP! They are others that will chime in on the orgins of the razor. I really like the style of it. It looks to me there may be pitting on the cutting edge in the pic on the right. That is not good, pitting elsewhere is ok just not the edge. Maybe if you could get closer pics of just the blade. I am sure more "experts" will let ya know. In any case welcome to the forum and dont worry if the blade is pitted they are plenty more out there.

Welcome aboard! You have a round tip w/ barber's notch. I'm thinking this is at least a 5/8, but possibly larger. If you can get a close up pic of the manufacter's stamp on the tang, this will help some of our more learned members give you some history on your straight. With a little work, this should be a nice addition

Daniel, Welcome to SRP. By name and pic it looks like you got a good razor there. Good luck with it.

I understand why pitting on the edge would be bad, but couldn't it be honed out? Unless it's really bad/deep, or there is just a ton of it on there to the point that you simply can't hone it off that's one thing. From the pics I don't get that impression. Not challenging here, just looking to understand. Thanks!
