    Greetings from the west of Scotland - I've abandoned decades of cartridge scraping and have started to live on the edge .

    Now I'm one week in and have had my first really encouraging shave (Dovo 5/8 carbon hollow, black bridle strop) I am confident that with better lathering and more practice on technique I will get a really good shave.
