    Default Hello all

Really new to the straight razor scene, just got an old blade from my grandfather who recently passed away. It looks in rough shape, has a small chip in the blade and its tarnished from age, but I do want to clean it up and try to get it back into working condition. And this site seems to be the place to get started. I will post some pics once I find the right thread on the forums.

    Wellcome!
Yes this is the right place to start this wonderful thing. Do you have read SPR Wiki? There you can find very useful articles, videos on maintaining, shaving etc.

You got gentlemanly inheritance. Take good care of it.

Welcome to the site and the world of straight shaving. Please put your mark on the members map http://straightrazorpalace.com/vbgooglemapme.php

If you look in the Classifieds there are several members that do restorations listed in there. Good luck and enjoy!!
