    Default About time i got started!

    well i just wanted to say hello and that I'm glad you guys are here. i have for years gone to old timer barbers to get a GOOD shave with a straight razor from time to time but now I'm finally getting around to doing it myself and am dragging my dad along with me and hopefully my brothers seems like a lot of good info to dig through and i welcome any beginner advice anyone wants to toss in here. haven't gotten a good razor and gear yet but i'm working on it. i do have a Union Razor Company razor that doesn't seem to need much work i grabbed off of ebay for 6 bucks just because. any way hello and looking forward to learning a lot!
