Default New and bloody... ha ha

Hello all my name is Cam. I decided i wanted to give this whole straightrazor thing a try... although i am using a Parker SR1 "Not a real straight razor", a cheap drugstore boar hair brush and Col Conk Soap in a cool vintage shave mug...I AM HOOKED . Searchin around for a good razor while trying to not slit my throat with my SR1 ..Ha Ha. Anyway just sayin hello, everything i have read here is super helpful..Great forum! I have gotten fairly skilled with my SR1 i am not cutting myself anymore...yes! Gettin some sort of practice while savin my pennies for a real blade and brush !!!
    see ya around the forum,
    Cam

welcoome to SRP, first off there is nothing wrong with col conk soaps i happen to like them, as for a razor have you checked the classifieds here? there are many there at great prices and more often than not they are shave ready. that is where i usually go to for my razors also SRD and any of the other ads on the this website are reputable dealers, just make sure what ever you get is shave ready. again welcome
