Thread: Hello, yet another new member!

Hey everyone,

I've been interested in learning more about straight blade shaving for the better part of a year. Until now however, I've never really taken the time to do that. A local antique mall is closing and I recently visited there; only to find that they were sold out of all razors the week before...

Now I'm at a loss as to where I'll find a blade. I'm located in the Vancouver, Canada, so if anyone knows a member here I can contact regarding purchasing a blade or shops, etc please let me know. There is a local barber shop which sells everything, but it's in yuppy town and in all would set me back well over $300. I can seemingly do about $200 from a number of websites and I'm wondering if I can find even cheaper, or relatively the same cost for higher quality here.

Any info would be great. I'll continue to search around the site for the answers I seek however.

I would highly recommend the classifieds here. Not only good razors at good prices but usually shave ready sharp as well.
