Thread: Hello all!

Finally decided to join these forums instead of just looking around. Baker from northern California here, always had a soft spot for the idea of straight shaving and came across The Art of Shaving in San Francisco a little under a year ago, decided I should get into it. But wanted to research first and that's when I found this spot and wow! so much info! Then about six months ago grabbed a cheap straight off the classifieds here, got a Filly strop from RupRazor, and went back to Art of Shaving for a brush/cream/oil/balm kit. Haven't touched my disposable since getting it all together.

So yeah, thanks for being around and having so many great articles and threads for newbies so I could get a feel for it all. Six months in and I've only cut myself twice.
