Hello all. Wish I had found this site before I took steel to face. I picked up my Wostie from a good friend whose father was a barber. It is one of his dad's old straights that I had my barber hone for me. He also gave me a dubl duck that is next to be honed. By the time I found this site, I had already done a couple whole face shaves. I look forward to putting the tips I find here to use to achieve a more comfortable and closer shave. All in all though I really love shaving with the straight. I either need to invest in a good soap and brush or figure out the right combination for my lather riser (another gift from my firend). The hot lather is nice, but doesn't seem to provide adequate protection. I either need to figure out the proper mix or just break down and bite the bullet and get a good brush and some soap.
