Hello from Wyoming
Just finally getting around to introducing myself. . I've been using a 5/8 Dovo for about two years now with much advice gleaned from the SRP forums. I just finished replacing the original black plastic scales with a hand-carved solid oak handle and can't wait to start doing more custom work.

Since this is one solid piece of oak instead of traditional open scales I am somewhat concerned with moisture retention. I've been sketching various designs for a stand which would allow me to display the razor with an open blade and would appreciate any ideas you all might have.
