    Hello, I am 17 and I am pretty new to the straight edge razor method of shaving, and hopefully I don't fillet part of my face off learning!

    Hello, and welcome to SRP. I'm sure you'll find that the dangers of straight razor shaving are exaggerated, albeit a healthy dose of respect for the razor is a good thing. There are lots of material in the wiki to help you with a safe start, and even videos to help with techniques. Don't be hesitating to ask questions. Best of luck.
