Hi people! This looks to be where I should introduce myself, so here goes:

I'm Matt, pretty new to straight razor shaving. I bought an old razor at an antique store a few months ago, and had an old school barber I know sharpen it for me, and I've been keeping that edge in shape on the back of my belt in between sharpenings. Now, I had the barber sharpen my razor 3 times in 3 months, and he's getting a little irritated, so now I have to venture out on my own Luckily, I discovered SRP a little bit ago, and finally pulled the trigger, so here I am on a new hobby adventure!
