Hi I'm new to this site, but not to using a straight razor and sharpening knives. I've been reading and absorbing the info here and there seems to be a wealth of it. I have learned a great deal in a short while since I joined.
I started a couple years ago using a straight razors, just because. I never knew there were other benefits, such as a finer better shave and the satisfaction of bringing back history, alone with others benefits. It has improved my knife sharpening skills and care of my precious stones that I never realized how valuable they were. I'm by no means an experienced straight razor guy, but i am able to shave with both hands and produce a very sharp razor. I also am able to make my own shaving cream that lathers rather nice and works. Thank You! for a great site.

I do sell quality beeswax that is fine filtered...I thought I would mention this, seems some use it to protect their wood scales. I sell about 2,000 lbs a year.
