My name is Truman Waddell . I live in Ky . I'm new to this forum . I am a bridge carpenter and a Taxidermist . I have 4 Kids all Girls and a wife . I like to hunt Mostly coons with My dogs . I am country as Corn bread and lean toward the Older ways . I'm 32 years old . I have Been shaving with a Straight Razor for a few months now and like It . I started out with a Kreiger But I now use a Boker . I'm thinking of having a Knife maker I know Make me a custom Razor . He knows his stuff to . any how enough about me have a great day .

Glad to hear that you've started on the great adventure of Straight Razor Shaving!! I'm sure that you will find this site not only helpful, informative, but Very Friendly!

I learned and am still learning from this website and from Lynn Abrams CD.
I highly recommend that you read, ask a lot of questions, and get Mr Abrams CD. It is not hard to learn how to use a straight razor if you get all the information and supplies you need first. Keep in mind that you WILL cut yourself. It is all part of the learning curve. Read the Wiki on this website. It will answer most of your questions.
I think I found is that straight razor shaving is great and addicting. Never had a better shaving experience that I have in the last couple of months.
