Default 5yr Lurker.... finally introducing myself

    Hi there...

I joined up about 5 years ago when I start shaving with a 6/8 Dovo Bismarck. I'd read through all the threads back then when I was working on my shaving technique but I never really felt the need to contribute anything.

Now 5 years later I came back because I needed to find out how to replace the pivot pin on my Bismarck. I stumbled across the "Razor Clubs" sub-forum and into the Die Wackerfans thread. I was instantly attracted to the beauty of Herr Wacker's razors and decided I needed to start collecting them.

Two months later and I'm building a Wacker 7-day set to use and hopefully one day pass down to my unborn son.

Wow, better late than never. Now you will have at least one thing to contribute--pictures!

Welcome! Five years and six posts? You need to get a grip and slow down a little.

    Haha!!!

I don't get a chance to sit on forums too often. I've got young children.

I posted some pictures in the Die Wackerfan thread but here are 5 of the 7 of my Wacker 7-day set.

Lovely razors. I did a review of my two wedge set of Herr Wacker's awhile back. It is in the review section and I agree they are great shavers.

I think your seven day set will make a fantastic thing to pass down to your unborn son. What a lovely thought. I have my great grandfather's old Truefitt and Hill seven day set and it's an amazing thing to have, it's a personal link and much better and more practical than a pocket watch or something like that. Oh you'll also have to show your son how to use them. Bonding!
