Thanked: 0Finally stepping up from Fort Collins, CO
Hello all,
I've been lurking around the forum for a while and have decided it is time to step up to the plate. I just started shaving with a straight a couple weeks ago after purchasing a sweet razor from holli4 (thanks! ). Thus far I have experienced a few nicks and a couple of small cases of razor burn. Fortunately, it appears as though I am not the only one who has experienced these issues and have discovered that the search function on this forum is an invaluable tool for troubleshooting. Even with these problems, the razor bumps I have been plagued with for years on my neck (courtesy of the old Mach 3) have completely disappeared and I am already experiencing closer shaves! I never knew that shaving could turn from a chore to something I look forward too! A big thanks to all of the members on this forum who have helped create an excellent informational resource for newbies like me!
Have a good one!
P.S. Maybe I should also thank everyone for helping me expand my already healthy blade addiction. Doh!

Welcome! Fort Collins was my stomping grounds for 8 years until I moved back to the Denver-ish area. As Glen mentioned you should come down for the CO meet in July.
