Thanked: 0Hi from Kansas City
I've been a lurker/occasional poster on Badger and Blade for a while and I have been a DE shaver for a long time. Wanted to dabble in straight razors and found a decent Bengall at the antique store yesterday. I took the photos before I worked out the majority of the oxidation, but a few minutes with a Dremel and buffing wheel had it good as new (minus the edhe). The edge needs some work, but I'm happy about the purchase! Talk to you later!

Thanked: 1936That's a nice blade...have her honed up & dance with her!
Welcome to the forum by the way. Might I suggest Lynn's dvd to help get you started as it has much information in it from the guru himself. That way you aren't getting mixed information. If you were to use it as a base for your knowledge you will truly enjoy the pleasures of wet shaving with a straight!Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott
