Thread: Greetings from Upstate South Carolina

hello everyone

I am completely new to straight razors. I do not lack the enthusiasm though. I have recently went and got some on ebay and some freinds are bringing me what they have found in storage. I am really excited to see the various razors and i want to begin to restore them as well as shave with them. I am very fond of history so any help in the historical facts about companies and styles is greatly sought. I would love to post a couple of pics of my two newest razors if you will all help me learn all i can about them.

I'm as interested in the history of razors as I am shaving with them (very). There are some guys here who really know their stuff.

To start off, read the Wiki in the menu bar above, and also try searching the names/brands of your razors in the search box above to pull up threads that are pertinent and will give you info.
