    Default Hello from Colorado

    Hello. I just received a merkur hd for fathers day from the art of shaving along with their product kit. First shave went pretty well. Two passes. A few nicks but nothing too severe. I'm already thinking about acquiring a straight razor. I've always suffered from severe razor burn. Hoping this transition to safety and/or straight will get me past that. At any rate, I've already learned a great deal from the forum.

    I agree that you can learn a lot of information from this forum. Look for meets near your area, it is amazing how much you will learn in a short day with these guys.
