    Default Hello from central FL

Hi all. Just wanna say thanks for all the great info on here. I've attached a poor quality photo of the Crown and Sword razor re-handled by a friend. This was the inspiring source to come here for info. Still getting used to using my brush and 3 passes with my cartridge razor (Mach 3). In a month or so I may begin to use the razor.

Hello JayHawk. Welcome to SRP. Glad to have you aboard.

BTW...That's a nice-looking piece of quality re-scaled shaving steel you have there. Let us know how she handles when you use it.

And please don't wait three months before you use it. If you have a strop, try shaving one side of your face with it this weekend.

If you don't have a strop, get one (3" wide recommended) asap from one of the top-notch vendors who advertise here at SRP.

    Take care--and smooth shaving.

welcome neighborino! i'm in the Tampa area.
like jhenry said, DON'T wait to start using it! start going from your sideburn down to your jawline, on one side only. if you feel up to it, try the other side.
then finish up with your cart.
