    Default Greetings from a Fresnan

Greetings ... I'm new to the board as of a couple of days ago. I'm a Fresnan (Fresno, CA) and I'm on vacation ... I am new to straight razor shaving, but got two shave ready razors from Straight Razor Designs and now I'm hooked. I've only been shaving about a month and I don't have my straight razor on vacation (boy am I sorry I didn't bring it). I'm not on a quest to learn how to hone my own razors.

Thanks and have a great day!!!!!

Welcome. Take solace in the fact that along with your comfortable home your razors will be waiting for you.

    +1!

Also, try your hardest not to hone your razors until your technique is down-pat. This way, you can shave-test your edges and rule out whether or not it's the hones or hands.

    Welcome to SRP!

I'm from Visalia and make frequent trips up to Fresno to do my usual antique store crawl. Let me know if you want to come along for some great vintage finds...heck, I can bring my hones and you can take home a vintage razor ready to shave right then and there.
