    Default New from Belgium

    Hello guys,

Started DE shaving around a year ago, liked it a lot but now I think it's time to take the plunge on straight shaving...
I know it is always advised to get a used but shave ready blade first, but went for "new" directly as I ordered a TI with their new carbon steel "C135", I read a lot of praise for this blade, and it seems it comes nearly shave ready, about 100 passes on green paste then 100 on naked leather, and ready to go!
Hopefully it will work as easily as it sounds...but I know it's never easy!
Anyway as the razor is on it's way, I took the plunge and ordered a starter strop from Ambrose, his strops look really great!

    Wish me luck!

    Welcome,
I have bought 2 new TI's, they both shaved nicely straight out of the box.
