Newbie in Atlanta
Hey, gang!
I've looked into straight razors a couple of times before but never took the plunge but I finally decided to do it. I'm currently trying to decide what to get with plans to order next week.
I told a friend of mine I was doing it "for reasons of Epicness" and he understood instantly.
Anyway, glad to be here

Welcome! I started with a sight unseen deal from Larry at whippeddog.com...gets you started for $48(strop razor, balsa, etc). Once I decided I liked this, I purchased a couple more from different places, including a nice Dovo from SRD and a new strop. You WILL maim or possible destroy your first strop so the cheaper one is a nice option - if it survives, you have a nice travel strop
