Thread: Awrite from Glasgow

Hey SRP

Complete beginner here looking to start shaving the proper way a man should.
I am 20 and as all my friends are getting new gadgets and living on social networks i favour a simplier purer traditional life. Recently getting a new job as an apprentice chef i love working with my hands and used to sharp knives. I'm not aware of a straight razor society in Glasgow but hopefully i can find some here.

Hoping you can help me out starting this new hobby.

How are things down in 'Crago'?

Yea, somebody added an I somewhere down along the generations... I think it was my Great Grandmother because the 'family' cemetary in WV has a whole lot of Crago's and just about all the Craigo's date after 1910...

Apparently we bred like rats 'cause we measure in the thousands... wear kilts and cry when we hear the pipes...

Grandad Simon's straight, and a late model DE shaves my face...

We are trying to have gatherings a couple of times a year, usually in London but I'd like to move them about, so keep an eye out for the next one and cone along!

Hi Cbear, I'm across in edinburgh, so PM if you need help and hints and if you happen to be around, let me know. search for a thread called available in your area, and that'll tell you what you can get in edinburgh at least. Unfortunately that threas never took off the way i hoped but at least the scottish members can find out where to get stuff.

Just to bump this up, I think there are a couple of more members now from the Glasgow area (well, me and my pal John at least) and we'd be well up for attending any sort of meet-up for SRP pals. I'd also be interested in hearing about any meet-ups that might be happening south of the border - it's not a million miles away after all!

If we keep bumping up at this rate we'll be able to get our own meet at some point lol.
