Thread: Hello from upstate new York!!

Well this looks like a great place for straights lots of good info here for sure.
I started getting into fine shaving when a friend asked me to repair his razor.
Being a woodworker i was kinda shocked of the amount of razors with plastic
or composite scales, anyway i fixed my friend razor with some ebony scales
and i was hooked. I also turned quite a few brushes with some exotic woods
and even applied some inserts on the top of the brush like real ivory or mother of pearl.
like the one under my name is ebony with an ivory insert and a 22mm silvertip fine badger hair. Keep up the good work here!!
