Thread: Hello from South of France !

Hi guys !

I'm Ali, I'm 31, I live in Mazan near Mont Ventoux, south of France. I am a straight razors fanatic, above all thesheffield 19th century and the french straight razors near wedge from Paris 19th century.
By this way, I become restorator, I work mainly horn and bones, a litttle the wood but I don't like a much cause for me, a straight razor must have an animal handle. I try to respect at his best the object.

I am not sure about handle part i would prefer plastic handles more then anything else.
i guess it is just personal preferences.

Thanks ! It's true, in France and In Europe were are more conservatives and it's difficult to get out the tradition.
I looked some restorations in G10 and micarta, and it looks nice, beautiful so I buy my first pack of micarta and G10.
