    Default Hello from Tennessee

Hello all, I have been browsing these forums for a while now and decided to register, I am very happy that I did because the very first day I met a member (Fierro11) who lives about 1.5 hours away who gave me a very nice straight razor, strop, soaps and a load of useful information. I have now shaved twice since acquiring my razor and I don't think I could have had such a great shave without the support of the members of this site. I am still looking for a good brush(Using a cheap synthetic brush now) but I am sure things will only get better. Sorry for the late introduction!

No worries. Fairly new myself, but happy to have you with us. Welcome to the crew
My brush advice would be to go with a Badge Hair brush. Tweezerman makes a good cheaper brush for around $14. If you want to spend a little more, check out the Badger Silvertip brushes.
I personally prefer the 24mm bulb brushes but badger hair is always a safe bet.
