    Welcome to SRP!
In your other thread you seem to have found two great options for a straight to get you started.
I wish you the best of luck in this new endevour.
If I may, check out the useful links on the frontpage of this website.
Lots of great tips for a beginner in those links.
Anything else, ask away, and we will try our very best to help you out

This webpage is the reason which got me covet a razor blade and throw out my "Wilkinson Quattro" together with it's plastic stand and get something my bathroom will praise me for . I ended up buying the Sweden blade and can't wait for its arrival!

Welcome to SRP!! That's a mighty fine looking razor you purchased!! Congratulations on your acquisition. Have you checked out the Wiki on straight razor shaving?
Wishing you many great shaves! Don't forget to relax, take your time, use slow and short strokes. Enjoy!!

Thank you for the suggestions pmburk! I'm reading trough the vast amount of info on this page right now and I definitely don't want to end up scarred for life so I'll certainly take it slow at the beginning .
