Thread: Morning

Hi there,

First off, thanks to all the members on here for all the posts I've read over the last few months, I started lurking a while ago and this forum has been an invaluable resource.

I started the transition towards SR shaving over a year ago, when i moved to using a brush and soap rather than gel. This spurred me to have a go with a straight, something I've wanted to do for a long time, only thing that stopped me was the wife, who was petrified i would kill myself.

At the beginning of the year i started shaving with a shavette, and then got hold of a W&B extra hollow, which has now been joined by a Gong which is currently waiting for a coticule to hopefully render it shave ready. The bug has bitten.

I'm sure i will end up asking many questions, so thanks in advance.

Shaving with a Shavette is a trial by fire. If you can shave with that (that's how I started) you can shave with anything that shaves. Welcome aboard!
