Greetings from Adelaide, Australia
Hi everyone I have only had a few shaves with a cut-throat but I am already hooked. For the first time in my life shaving is fun. I realise I have a lot to learn regarding use and maintenance of my razor (by the way I bought a Dovo Classic 5/8 razor, "best quality" is on the blade) but that for future posts I guess.

Welcome to SRP.I lived in Freemantle as a child and have been to Adelaide.This was in the early 60s tho.Living in Scotland now and I still miss the heat.

From Adelaide? Are you SERIOUS!?! We're like the only two in the UNIVERSE! I'll give you a tip, don't bother tramping the streets of Adelaide looking for strops or good creams and soaps; there's like 5 strops total in South Australia and three types of creams and soaps, they'll even boldly tell you 'There is no such thing" when you ask for Proraso After Shave splash...
