    Default Hi, from NY

    So it has been in my mind for quite some time that I would really like to learn how to use a straight razor. Now that I have read a bunch on it, I am really excited to start. I of course need all the stuff, but I think that I will be teaching my son how to use a straight razor someday. So if anyone has any good suggestions on razors, soaps, balms, or even just technique I am open to all. Thanks.

    Welcome... I have said it before... There is a fair amount of NY's here.

    Start reading up in the beginners links and start posting your questions. You will get tons of help. This is a mature & friendly bunch.
