Thread: Hello from Nashville, TN

Hi all! I'm a 21 year old college student studying in Nashville. I'm a senior and freer on time so I decided to get into straight razor shaving! I am very excited and hope to get help from you all as I nick myself... I heard that straight razor designs is one of the best online retailers and went ahead and ordered the Dovo best quality black 6/8 straight razor set. I like the fact that Lynn (who's apparently a master at honing!) pre-sharpens the razor so I don't have to muddle around with a hone and mess up my first blade.

I'm expecting it to come sometime this week so I'll let you all know how my first experience went!

Thanks fiero11 and trilliumLT for the welcome. I've been taking my time reading the wiki's and they are indeed full of useful info. I'm a little intimidated by the info I need to learn but I think I'll take my time with it and make use of the knowledge all of you possess!

The shaving kit should be coming in soon and I'm really excited for my first straight razor shave although I'm a bit nervous haha.
