Welcome to the fold. Definitely look up the fellows close to you. Also, here's a quick wave from Hydro/Weatherford while I'm visiting the in laws.
I hear there are a few places on OKC that keep stuff in stock. I'll be out there tomorrow morning/ afternoon to pick up a new brush and see if I can score some DE blades.

Welcome from another fellow Okie. Your in good hands here, ask away, you won't learn if you don't ask.

It'd be really fun to get a gang together who are into restorations...maybe spend a Saturday or Sunday a month helping each other with tips/suggestions/ideas...like a more manly version of a knitting club

Thanked: 0Yet another Okie checking in here, and I have just a few razors for us to work on. Anyone game for a meet-up in the next month or so?

Thanked: 58I'd be interested! Although, I'm a full-time employee, student, husband, and father of three with no extra time available, but sure!
Four words, Wannamacher's Gun & Knife show! I found an excellent Celebrated Hollow/Barber's Use 8/8ths Wade & Butcher w/ only a light patina this past weekend for only $65! I also found a Goldege dublduck, and a 7/8ths W & Butcher for $8. Ya'll need to check the next one out here in Tulsa in the Spring.
