    Welcome to SRP Irishbear.
    I haven't used one of these (give me time), however, I am lead to believe that they are good shavers.
    It looks like it cleaned up well and you have got a shaveable edge on it - well done.
    It doesn't look very worn at all and to have a grandfathers razor is something I would love.
    Treasure it and give it the respect it deserves.
    The numbers are model or catalogue numbers AFAIK.
