    Default Beunas DIAS from Texico

FNG here. Been lurking for a while and enjoying.

I'm a 60 year old "gringo" in Texas. Been a pocket knife and knife gatherer for years. I like sharp, old, shiny stuff. Pretty much all of my knives predate 1960.
I also like old moto siggles and stuff that goes bang.

Got interested in razors and have been trying to learn everything I can. I've looked at just about everything ebay has and have read and looked at
    several "blogs" devoted to razors.

I have an acquaintance in the UK that has 17 razors he'd like to trade. Some are NOS and some appear to be pretty well used up.

I realize this is my first post here but I am considering taking him up on his offer for the razors and thought I'd post his pics and ask if the deal is decent.
If this a breach of decorum, I apologize.

He placed a $200 price for trades and or cash for this lot.

    Here is his description.
The first two on the left column and the top and bottom razors on the right column in the first picture are all new un-used with two still having packing grease on them. They only have a tiny bit of peppering on the thumb lever at worst on them. The rest all need any where from a light polish to a complete overhaul. I showed the worst side of the ones in the second picture. They are all English or German with maybe a French one in there. Most have some nice etching on the blades. The handles are an assortment of horn, plastic, and celluloid.
I'm not planning on an acquisition for re-sale. I may get enthused and try to use one or more at some point in the future and not try to add any more scars to my ugly mug than I already have.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sincerely,
    Willie

Welcome Willie. Where you at? Yeah, you will be admonished for asking about values here. Don't see how you could go wrong on it.

    Oops,

Stepped on it right off the bat, I guess.

    I'm in Cow Town.

I'll do my best to play by the rules.
