Well... I am almost 40, been fascinated with the straight razor for a long time. I remember my grandfather shaving with one as a child. I sent off for the stuff today, it should be here next week. My 14 year old son started shaving recently, I want him to see me doing this so he can do it as well. I understand I will get cut early on, hopefully I will not have the dueling scars I have always wanted when I was young....

Welcome! You're not the only late starter around here. It took me ten years to finally break down and make the small initial investment.
