    Hentes,

    My edges were also quite crispy/harsh from my c12k. Sharpness was fine, but not what I'd call smooth or comfortable. I'm unfamiliar w/ the stone you mentioned ordering. 'Hope it brings the smoothness. If it does, you're gonna be a happy guy.

    If you use slurry w/ your c12k, the slurry can be saved and later used to coat the canvas/linen on a strop. It seems to smooth out the harshness of the c12k.

    Just finished shaving with my freshly honed razor. Closest shave ever, really keen edge, sharp and comfortable, no razor burn at all. Llyn melynllyn hone really gave a smooth edge!!!!

    you can use slurry a very lite slurry and finish on water 5-10 laps on water and that will dial down the sharpness and add a little smoothness/comfort in the shave
