Thread: Hi!

Hi,

I thought I'd give a quick introduction and say "Hello!"

I'e shaved with plastic shavers for the last 15 years honestly thinking "they are newer technology, so must be better!" but after getting annoyed with rising prices I investigated safety razors and ended up ordering a load of Edwin Jagger gear (DE87, best badger brush, shaving soap, soap bowl, Derby blades etc.) online. While I was reading about razors I stumbled upon straight razors and ended up picking up a 5/8 Kropp that needs repolishing, honing and new scales. I thought I'd get an older blade made new, rather than buy a new blade and make it old

Sounds like you are heading in the right direction!
