Thanks for having me!
J here from Belgrade,MT just though I'd finally join up! I read the JaNorton thread and then found myself buying a razor at an antique store. Well of course then I had to hone it, strop it, ect... Never having done any of these things before the Wiki and all of the great videos helped a lot. My razor now pops hanging hairs, loudly, and shaves roughly but it's a start. My wife laughed at me tonight grinning with my new razor burn and assorted nicks! I'm not looking for perfection just progress! Thank you again for all of the great posts that got me this far.

Welcome 2cor1011 hang in there, it will get better. Just keep at it and dont be discouraged.
