    Default Baltimore Checking In

    Hello from Maryland. brand new to to straight razor shaving. Still on training wheels, but getting better each time. Bought a nice set from Vintage Blades and was very pleased with their service. I have been all over the forum gathering all the information I can. Definitely nice to know there is a nice site like this one. Glad to be here!

    Welcome! Im in MD myself- Rockville. Went to college near Baltimore, and now I'm back for my masters. I've managed to meet a few guys from MD on here so far, glad to meet another!

    this is the best forum for sure straight shaving is a great skill to have and once you got it down...there is nothing more satisfying! welcome

    Thanks for the welcomes! I've been getting the feel and gaining skill ever so slowly. Mainly on the neckline because the beard hasn't come off yet. But had a really good shave last night....everything clicked...good stropping and felt in control of everything. Searching for razor #2 as a good backup or alternate.
