Thanked: 0Howdy from West Texas
Until recently I was a long haired biker that hated shaving with a passion. 2 Years ago I was laid off my job in manufacturing and had to find something new to do. I have always been interested in law enforcement and so at 41, I put in a application with the local Sheriff's office. Well they actually hired me. The new job did require me to have short hair and be clean shaven. I am also a instructor in Japanese swordsmanship, so I decided to combine my love of fine razor sharp blades together with my need to shave and make it fun. So here I am learning to shave with a straight razor and loving it.
Thanks in advance to everyone's help
James

Irashimase Sensei James !
There's a few of us here who enjoy a variety of sharp blades. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 0Thank you , Thank you, it's good to be here. I'm learning new stuff every day. I gotta say I knew I was in the right place when I saw a razor called the Texas Lip Lopper with a hamon on it
