Thanked: 3Hello all, from Santa Barbara, CA
Hello one and all,
I thought itd be best to introduce myself onto here since Im just starting out. My names Mark and Ive been shaving with a DE for a while now and thought that maybe I could try straight razor shaving. Ive already done it a few times and am seeing good results. I get a few cuts now and again when I have to shave the opposite side of my face. Im far from wanting to give up though. I hope some of you more advanced users can give me some pointers on how to shave the opposite side of my face and limit as many cuts as possible.

Have you tried going across the grain instead of against it?

Thanked: 3Still trying to get to that. Hardest part I have is the opposite side of my face. Although Lynn says its quite simple after a few practice runs I stick with my dominant hand throughout the entire shave.
