Hello from giotti.
Hello everyone,
I'm Giacomo (or giotti, my nick, if you prefer) and recently a discovered the wonderful SR word and come across SRP!
First of all: thanks for this amazing site!
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a couple of razors on ebay and now I'm trying to restore them.
I'll let you know about them in the dedicated threads.
Cheers

Thanked: 1936We are glad to have you!
I'm sure you can handle the clean-up on the razors, but a word of advice: Leave the honing to a veteran honer until you get the hang of shaving with a straight. I'm sure you may have read this already, but wanted to help you out just in case. Please don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions.

Hi shooter74743,
thanks a lot for your hint.
Of course I read about shave readiness lurking around and I will wait until I'm sure that my razors are shave ready!
Cheers.

Well, just to let you know that I did it :-)
My first time, both checks with my honed and stropped GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SON..
Great satisfaction!
Cheers.

I missed my welcome! Glad you enjoyed the razor. I have a George Wostenholm coming back from being restored so I can't wait to see how it shaves!
