    Default Greetings Gents, from WI

    Hello everyone,

My name is Chance, and this is my first post to this forum. I stumbled across this site one day and was really impressed with the SRD, that it such a cool feature.

I am pretty new to the world of wet shaving. Right now I have just been shaving with safety razors but own one straight razor and would like to try my hand at straight razor shaving one of these days!

I own 4 safety razors (actually 3, as I am waiting for one to arrive):

    Edwin Jagger DE89
    Gillette Tech Ball End (1930's?)
    1946 Gillette Aristocrat
    Gillette Flair Tip

As for my straight razor, it is a:

    Theo A. Kochs Co. "Wizard"

I am looking forward to being a part of this communty!

    Best Regards,
    Chance

Welcome to SRP. Ask any questions you have and be sure to read the very helpful links on the home page when you're ready to start shaving with your straight.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

    Hi Paul,

I live in Waunakee, which is just right outside of Madison, just a 5 minute drive.

I will have to take a look at a map because I don't remember exactly where Minocqua is. But I was wondering do you have any stores around where you live that sell shaving supplies? I've been having a hard time finding anyplace that sells soap, cream, that kind of stuff. So I've just purchased everything off the internet so far.

Oh ok, yea I supposed shoveling is kind of a thing of the past for you. We actually just got a couple inches two days ago. Hopefully that'll be the last snow of the year!
