Thread: hello from the Midwest!

HEy guys so i figured after lurking around here and reading a LOT in the Library i would pull the trigger and sign up! Although i have been wet shaving with a DE and have bought a few straights...mainly based on looks!.....that i would join the conversation and maybe get some questions answered! i have yet to put the straight to my face yet but i do know at least one of them is shave ready...bought it from a friend who turned me on to this sight and i have a second on the way from a member at a similar forum, i think i'll try a shave with it the next shave i have (prob a day or two) but not do the whole face maybe just the cheeks and see how it goes!!! thanks for all the help you have Unknowingly provided so far and thanks in advance for the help i am sure is to come!!

Do you have a dry off and oil protection insurance plan for your open razors immediately after the shave?

I'm not sure I get what you mean? I do plan to dry the blade and leave it out and open overnight....do you suggest more or something different?

i guess it may depend on the humidity, then.
