    Default Hello from Brooklyn, NY

I just started straight razor shaving about a month ago.
I picked up a cheap razor and strop at a flea market, tried honing it with limited success.
I bought a inexpensive shave ready (Jim Slick) from a member here and was very happy.

Now I'm picking up some cheap flea market razors to practice my honing and repair skills.

    regards,
    ken

Greetings and i'm sure your are hooked well and good. just make sure those flea market blades are actually razors, not razor shaped objects.

    good luck

    Thanks.
My biggest problem is that I gotta cool my jets on purchases until I get more experience.

    thanks again,
