Welome to SRP. There is a ton of information here on every aspect of wet shaving. Due some research and you'll be rewarded. Have fun and post any questions you have.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Hearty welcome, Kevin. You hit the mother lode of good info & good attitudes. You're gonna like this place.
Texas, huh? I don't know what they're putting in the water down there, but it has produced an unnaturally high concentration of very skilled craftsmen. It shouldh't be hard to find some very experienced guy nearby to get help from. Won't be long before you're getting the best shaves of your life, and now - it won't be an annoying chore.
'Hope to hear more from you.

Another Texan here. Arlington...
(Ok! OK!! I came here from Missouri 22 years ago, and am not a Texan according to those who were dropped down from heaven into Texas at birth.)

Sweet, another Texan. I am happily dislocated to the Pacific NW. Do you have aspirations to create custom razors? Sure seems to be plenty of custom makers hailing from down round your way.

I've only been down here about 14 years (came from Colorado), but there's so many new people coming into the Austin area I feel like an old time Texan every time I go out.
I'd love to learn how to make custom razors, Speedster, but that's a ways down the road until I do. I recently met a blacksmith and he was telling me about some classes at the community college that could get me on my way to making my own blades. Maybe one day.
Thank you all for the warm welcomes!
