    Default Hello from Austin, TX

Josh from Austin, TX. Just doing some research, thinking about making the switch. I shave my head, and Mach 3's break the bank! Main concern is choosing a razor, and making sure I get all the gear. Anywhere in Austin to go shop for it?

    Welcome to SRP!
there are some head shavers around i seem to recall they liked the round point razors. any decent and sharp razor from any of our vendors/ sponsors will work for you remember you will need a strop and preferably a brush and either real shaving cream or soap. the goop in the cans really is not ideal for a straight razor shave. you might first learn to properly use the razor to shave your face before venturing on to the whole head shave, since you will be able to see your face easily.
as for the austin question I'm sure one of the many texans will be around directly to answer that.
    Be just and fear not.
