Default My stubble can't grow quick enough!!!!

    Hello there fellow straight shavers,
I am very new to the whole scene but have been enjoying the challenge and rewards of straight shaving, although I have much to learn of that I am sure. I am at the time of writing three shaves in and have been using both hands and the results have not been disastrous! I still have my head and only a few little nicks...
I have been using a disposable straight just to see if I would enjoy the whole process and I now know that I am sold - big time! I have decided to buy a vintage blade I saw advertised that will be sharpened to shave ready ( I understand some stropping will be in order), It is a 1930's Ford Medley Arrow full hollow 6/8. I like the idea of having an English blade and the fact that it is old (and unused) appeals to me. I will be buying a strop and and a whetstone (8000) and any help, advice, warnings or tales of wisdom will be much appreciated.
    Yours faithfully, Facescraper.

I have put on hold my honing apprenticeship. I want to make sure my shaves are focused on first.
